Heather Smith
Heather Smith is the provincial President of the United Nurses of Alberta, the union of the province's over 24,000 Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, student nurses, mental health and other health workers. She was first elected as President in 1988. A Registered Nurse, she worked at the Edmonton General Hospital where she served for two years as President of Local #79. Heather Smith has been a member of many UNA Provincial Negotiating Committees.
